On Thursday, 30th August, Sr Zela and Sr Maureen shared with
us the significance of Baptism in the writings of St Angela and how this
relates to us as mothers who bring our children for baptism. Sr Zela
particularly highlighted that by bringing our children to baptism, we are
taking on the role of spiritual motherhood and all this entails. We found
guidance in living out this role in St Angela's writings, for example: 'pray
God to enlighten you and direct you and teach you what you have to do for love
of him in this task'.
